“I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for re-election to the San Diego Unified School Board, District A. During my first term, we successfully managed the safe reopening of schools, secured approval for a bond measure to enhance our infrastructure, and successfully launched the Universal Transitional Kindergarten program, benefiting thousands of students across our district. Additionally, we worked collaboratively with our teachers' union to successfully create a new contract that has contributed to the overall success of our students while continuing to support our educators.
As we continue to another term, my number one priority remains our students and educators. I am excited to build on our prior accomplishments to further improve the quality of education, empower our amazing educators, and ensure an accessible learning environment for all district families. Four years ago, I ran for this seat with the support of our District A community, and I am eager to earn the confidence of our community as I seek to represent them for another four years.”
